How an alert works
When a paired Smart Alarm triggers, the service immediately sends the alert and calls the primary owner. Once that call ends, it automatically moves through the extra contacts. No “Confirm raid” action is required.
When a call is answered
That recipient receives a personal 15-minute cooldown so new alerts cannot create a flood of calls.
When a call is missed
The system makes one retry after 3 minutes. It never retries indefinitely.
A call chain for your team
Invite up to five teammates by Telegram username or ID. Each person must start the bot and accept the invitation, so nobody can be added without consent.
The owner gets the first call. The queue then advances automatically through accepted and active contacts.
Spam and failure protection
- Smart Alarm events are deduplicated, so one signal cannot create multiple alerts.
- An answered call pauses new calls to that recipient for 15 minutes.
- A missed call gets only one retry after 3 minutes.
- Alert history stores the state and every call attempt.
Raid Call questions
How does Rust Alarm detect a raid?
A Smart Alarm connected to your base sends a Rust+ event immediately after activation.
What if I miss the call?
The system makes one retry to that person after 3 minutes.
Does the whole team get called at once?
No. The owner is called first, then the system moves through accepted extra contacts.
