How to Connect Rust+ to Rust Alarm

A step-by-step guide to connecting Steam, a Rust server and Smart Alarm to raid alerts.

1. Open the dashboard

Open Rust Alarm in Telegram and send /start. The bot registers your Telegram ID and shows the main menu.

Select “Web dashboard” or send /panel. A one-time link securely signs in the current browser tab.

2. Install the official connector

Open the RustAlarm Connector listing in Chrome Web Store and install it, then return to the Rust+ connection wizard.

Open the official Rust+ sign-in and authenticate through Steam. Your password stays on Steam; the extension returns only the technical connection callback.

3. Pair with Server

Join the target Rust server and open ESC → Rust+ → Pair with Server. The pairing event reaches Rust Alarm and the server appears in your dashboard.

If it does not appear, verify that the companion port is reachable and that you paired with the same Steam account.

4. Pair Smart Alarm and test calls

Power the Smart Alarm, give it a clear name and pair it. Separate names such as “Roof”, “Main base” and “External TC” make alerts easier to understand.

Run a test call from the bot. If Telegram blocks it, allow calls from the caller account or add that account to your contacts.
