Data we process
Rust Alarm stores Telegram ID, chat ID, username when available, paired Rust+ servers and devices, alert history, technical call results and Steam IDs that a user explicitly adds for player monitoring.
Rust+ data
RustAlarm Connector runs only on the official Rust Companion domain. It does not read Steam cookies or make independent network requests. The Rust+ token returned after authorization is passed to the open RustAlarm tab through a URL fragment, used once to register a push channel, and is not stored. FCM credentials and paired server keys are encrypted. Rust Alarm never receives your Steam password.
Player monitoring data
Player monitoring uses a submitted Steam ID, the selected server and observations returned by permitted public sources. A missing or stale observation is shown as uncertain rather than inferred.
Why we need this data
The data is used only to send notifications, make calls, display your server state, monitor targets you selected and execute commands you request.
Deletion
Remove a monitored player in the dashboard to stop tracking that target. Disconnecting Rust+ in the dashboard removes the paired Steam account, servers and devices. Contact the service administrator through the Telegram bot to delete the entire profile.
Security
The dashboard opens from a short-lived personal Telegram link. Never share that link and sign out on shared devices.
