How to Set Up Rust Raid Alerts

A practical Rust base protection setup using Smart Alarm, Rust+ and Telegram calls.

Why a push notification is not enough

A phone is often silent at night and ordinary notifications are easy to miss. An incoming call is harder to ignore, so Rust Alarm uses it as the urgent alert channel.

Where to place Smart Alarms

Wire the alarm to sensors or electrical logic that represents a real attack. Separate perimeter and core alarms help identify the raid stage.

Use short, unambiguous device names because they appear in alerts and history.

How to build a team call chain

Add up to five active teammates. The system calls the owner first and then automatically works through accepted extra contacts.

An answered call pauses new calls to that recipient for 15 minutes. A missed call receives only one retry after 3 minutes.

What to test before logging off

Make a test call and confirm that the server is online, Smart Alarm appears in devices, and extra contacts accepted their invitations. Pairing may need to be repeated after a wipe if Rust+ server credentials change.
